our yeast raised donuts are made with a brioche dough. we throw in lots of fresh yeast, butter, eggs, and let it ferment over a day's work. it's a process of slowly incorporating chunks of butter into the dough to strengthen the gluten and develop more flavor and structure. the results are an airy donut with a tender, light crumb. fried in palm oil until golden, brown, and delicious. this style dough allows us to be versatile when pairing it with sweet and savory toppings, glazes, and fillings. our donuts are not overly sweet, we want you to be able to enjoy more than one and still seize the day after. they are 100% certified made with love.
our old fashioned donuts are made with a cake like dough. made with buttermilk and leavened by baking powder, we like to compare them to big fried cookies. with these donuts, we can get creative with the spices and flavors we put into the dough. they finish with a tender crumb, and crispy crust. this is our second most popular donut, followed by our chocolate old fashioned donuts.
made with the same brioche dough as our donuts, we roll these bad boys up with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. after they bake, we generously drown them in our cream cheese glaze. sometimes we like to get fancy and put walnuts in them.
our chocolate old fashioned donuts are made with AP flour, buttermilk, and sour cream. we try to achieve the richest, deepest flavor of chocolate in this donut. we use valrhona cocoa powder, and lots of it.
